This is a recreation of the "Venus of Lespugue", a ~25,000 year old sculpture found in the south of France. The original figure was carved from mammoth tusk, and made just before the peak of the last ice age.
Candle care
- Trim wick to 1/4 inch each time candle is burned
- When first lighting, let candle burn for at least 30 minutes to allow meltpool to reach maximum diameter
- NEVER leave burning candles unattended
- Do not burn the candles for more than 2 hours at a time
- Keep away from drafts—fans, open windows, etc
- Candles may drip! It is a beautiful effect, but be aware—only burn on flat, non-porous, heat-resistant surfaces
- Do not move candles while burning or if wax is still molten
- Keep out of reach of children & pets
